National competition - 2007

12th national competition – 7th Croatian evaluation exhibition of model ships «Rijeka 2007» was organised under the sponsorship of President of Republic Croatia, Primorsko-Goranska county and City of Rijeka from 1st till 13th December 2007. in Multimedia Center on Školjić. On national competition participated 26 ship modelers with 54 exhibitis. Gold medal was won by: Vladimir Glavočić (Motor sailboat «Astral»). Silver medal was won by: Goran Jukić (Gajeta «Falkuša»), Slobodan Milošević (Trabakul), Željko Fredotović (Gajeta Falkuša IX. century), Slobodan Milošević (Leut), Željko Skomeršić (Falkuša). Bronce medal was won by: Goran Jukić (Korčulan's leut), Matija Felinger (Trabakul), Željko Skomeršić (Leut), Željko Skomeršić (Batana), Mili Šantić (Komiša's Gajeta «Falkuša»), Slobodan Car (Kapetanov guc «Fran»), Branimir Šoić (Dubrovnik's ship «Galeon»). Accompanying exhibition program consisted of: contests for the visitors, the exhibition of children's works, art workshop, children's workshops, courses for the boat, and other content. The exhibition was visited by a total of 2513 visitors.
