18^th National competition of ship-modellers – 9^th Croatian evaluation exhibition of model ships „Rijeka 2013“

by national rules, was organized under the sponsorship of the President of the Republic Croatia, with the financial support by Primorsko-goranska County and the City of Rijeka, from 8th to 21st November 2013 in Multimedia center at Školjić.

Organizers of the exhibition and the competition are Center of Technical Culture Rijeka and Croatian Ship Modellers’ Association..

The exhibition was open for public from 12th to 21st November 2013 in Multimedia Center at Školjić.

16 ship modellers participated in the exhibition with 30 exhibits. Škuna bark Admiral Tegetthoff made by Željko Skomeršić, was named the absolute best model, and was awarded with 91,33 points by the jury commission.

Golden medals were awarded to: Željko Skomeršić, Škuna bark Admiral Tegetthoff ; Branimir Šoić, Brigantin Urin

Silver medals were awarded to: Roland Vlahović, Lovranska gajeta; Roland Vlahović, Krčka pasara; Željko Fredotović, Trabakul, Mili Šantić, Školski brod "Jadran"; Kristijan Popeškić, Guc;

Bronze medals were awarded to: Bogoljub Dokmanović, Pelig; Boro Alavanja,Bracera; Kristijan Popeškić,Batana; Saša Matijašić,Gajeta Falkuša; Bogoljub Dokmanović,Bracera i Bragoc; Toni Miknić Rapski barkariol 1924.-1964; Toni Miknić,Rapska lađa do 1937.;

Medals to the best ship modellers as chosen by the audience were awarded at the closing of the exhibition
